Is it permissible to supplicate for a deceased mother who memorized two-thirds of the Qur’an, asking for her to reach the highest ranks of Paradise, even though she did not complete memorizing the entire Qur’an? And is this considered an transgression in supplication?

The mother's eagerness to memorize the Qur’an, despite her severe illness, is an indication of a good ending. And whoever intended to memorize the Qur’an but was prevented by illness or death, will attain the reward of one who has memorized the entire Qur’an. Illness is a means of expiating sins and raising ranks. It is permissible to supplicate for the mother to be in the highest ranks of Paradise.
