What is the meaning of the name 'Abd al-Mu'id?

Al-Mu'id (The Restorer) is one of the names of Allah Almighty, as stated in the long Hadith of Abu Hurayrah concerning the names of Allah Almighty, which was narrated by Ibn Majah and others and authenticated by Al-Albani. Allah Almighty says: (Indeed, it is He who originates and restores.) So, Allah originates creation when He creates them and restores them for resurrection on the Day of Judgment.
