How can a Muslim regularly maintain his prayers when he suffers from laziness concerning ablution, despite his eagerness to perform the rest of the obligatory duties?

Prayer is a great pillar of Islam, and abandoning it is disbelief. It is obligatory to safeguard it, for the Prophets and angels were commanded with it, and a Muslim's negligence in it makes him among the hypocrites. And a Muslim must fear Allah and watch himself and repent to Him. For whoever wastes prayer and follows desires will meet Ghayy (a valley in Hell), except for those who repent and believe and do righteous deeds.
