What should I do about constantly hearing the sound of music in my ears, especially in the left ear, even during prayer, reading Qur’an, and performing dhikr, which spoils my prayer and concentration?

What you hear are the imaginings and whispers of Satan. The cure for this is to frequently supplicate and humble yourself before Allah, to consistently recite remembrances (adhkar), and to recite the two refuge-seeking surahs (al-Mu'awwidhatayn). If you feel this during prayer, seek refuge in Allah from Satan and spit lightly to your left three times. Indeed, Muslim narrated in his Sahih from Uthman ibn Abi al-'As that he came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, Satan has come between me and my prayer and my recitation, confusing them for me." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "That is a devil called Khinzab. When you feel his presence, seek refuge in Allah from him and spit lightly to your left three times." What your husband did by interrupting the prayer is a grave mistake from which he must repent. The matter of prayer is immense, and abandoning it is serious. Some scholars have even considered it a major disbelief that expels one from the fold of Islam. What has afflicted you, including these whispers and financial hardship, is a punishment from Allah due to this sin. We advise you to urge your husband to perform the prayer and not to despair, for despair and hopelessness are companions of disbelief and misguidance. Allah Almighty said: "Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people," and "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those astray?" Trust in Allah and remain steadfast on the path of truth, and know that Allah will provide a way out and relief for you, as He Almighty said: "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out And will provide for him from where he does not expect."
