Is it permissible to bury the deceased in the ihram garments with which he performed Hajj, over the shroud, and will it harm him if it is not permissible?

Some jurists have recommended that a person make a bequest to be shrouded in garments of proximity to Allah, such as the clothes he used to wear for Friday prayers or for Hajj, hoping for the blessings therein.
