Remembrance (dhikr) and glorification (tasbih) are prescribed at all times and in all circumstances, except when relieving oneself or in similar situations. The best times for glorification are at the two ends of the day and during the hours of the night, as Allah the Almighty says: "So be patient over what they say and glorify [Allah] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night glorify Him and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied." Allah the Almighty has commanded much remembrance, and it is reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to remember Allah in all his states. The more present the heart is and the more it aligns with what the tongue says, the more perfect and greater the reward.
