Why was Idris (peace be upon him) named by this name?

Idris is the first prophet after Adam and Seth, and he is in the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. He was the first to write with a pen, and he lived for 308 years during Adam's lifetime. As for the derivation of his name, nothing definitive has been reported about it, and the general rule for proper nouns is that they are not derived.
