Is it a condition for reciting Surat Al-Baqarah to bring blessings and expel devils and the evil eye that it be recited over water for seven days and blown into it, then sprinkled in the house and drunk from, and will blessings not be attained by listening to it through recorded tapes?

The virtue of Surat Al-Baqarah in expelling devils from homes has been established, but restricting its recitation to a specific duration or a particular method has no basis in Islamic law. It is the recitation of the surah itself that achieves its virtue, and listening to it from recordings may not fully realize that virtue.
