Why have we not received narrations (hadiths) about the early prophets, even though they called to Islam, and why are there no uncorrupted versions of their books, such as the Gospel, the Psalms, and the Torah?

The followers of previous prophets did not take care to transmit what their prophets brought with authentic chains of narration, unlike the Muhammadan nation, which Allah specifically honored with the isnad (chain of narration) and the preservation of the Qur'an. Among the reasons for this is that Allah promised to preserve the Qur'an and no other book, and the People of the Book dared to distort their scriptures. The sayings of previous prophets have not reached us with authentic chains of narration like the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, despite their stories being mentioned in the Qur'an, Hadith, biographies, and history. What has not been narrated from the Prophet, peace be upon him, concerning the news of the prophets is not to be trusted, because the narrations of the People of the Book are not reliable.
