Is the commentary of politicians, journalists, activists, and common people on issues through denial without Shar'i (Islamic legal) evidence considered akin to issuing a fatwa and speaking about Allah without knowledge, even if they do not explicitly claim that? And should the people of truth contend with the people of falsehood and develop means to convey their positions?

Mere denial and condemnation are not considered speaking about Allah without knowledge, as long as they are attributed to the opinion of their author. Speaking about Allah without knowledge is slandering Him, glorified be He, concerning His names, attributes, actions, religion, and law. Allah has forbidden this and made it one of the gravest prohibitions due to the injustice and alteration of religion it entails. Knowledge in religious matters is taken only from the Messenger. As for the widespread dissemination of the opinions of politicians and journalists more than the words of scholars, this is due to several reasons, the most important of which is their possession of a massive media apparatus. However, this does not absolve the people of knowledge from striving to convey the truth to people.
