What was the duration between the revelation of the noble verse "And Allah will protect you from the people" and the death of the Prophet (peace be upon him)?

First: The meaning of the Almighty's saying, "And Allah will protect you from the people," is to protect and safeguard the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, from the harm of people, and an affirmation of the obligation to convey the message without fear of creatures, because Allah has guaranteed to protect him and grant him victory over his enemies.

Second: This verse was revealed in the Madani period, and the correct view is that it was among the last verses revealed. Before its revelation, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to be guarded, but when it was revealed, he abandoned the guard. Al-Suyuti and Ibn Aqilah mentioned that it was revealed during the Battle of Dhat al-Riqa', the date of which is disputed between the fourth and ninth year of the Hijra.
