The answer

This Hadith is narrated with two chains of transmission: one is weak, and the other is fabricated (Mawdu'). Al-Hafiz Al-Haythami and Al-Iraqi deemed it weak, and Al-Dhahabi definitively declared it fabricated. The Prophet, peace be upon him, frequently supplicated for his Ummah. He reserved his answered supplication as intercession for his Ummah in the Hereafter, as stated in Al-Bukhari and Muslim. In Sahih Muslim, the Prophet, peace be upon him, wept, saying: "O Allah, my Ummah, my Ummah!" So, Allah revealed to him: "Indeed, We will satisfy you concerning your Ummah, and We will not displease you."
