What is the ruling regarding a wife remaining with her husband who meets and shakes hands with women, claiming that there are schools of thought that permit it or due to necessity, and who owns channels that display unveiled women and music, and whose institutions and companies involve mixing between genders, despite both of them knowing that what he is doing is for the benefit of his country, and is the wife sinful for what he does?

It is permissible for a woman to remain with a husband who commits some reprehensible acts, and the wife does not bear sin for these acts unless she assists him or condones them. However, she must advise him, enjoin him to good, and forbid him from evil with gentleness and wisdom. Most scholars prohibit a man from shaking hands with a non-mahram woman, such as the Hanafis, Malikis, Shafi'is, Hanbalis, and Ibn Taymiyyah. Furthermore, the appearance of immodestly dressed women on satellite channels is a clear reprehensible act that harms the country and corrupts the people.
