What should one do if they find it difficult to lift the fallen hair on their forehead, temples, and sideburns to wash the skin underneath during ablution, which makes them take a long time to wash their face?

The face extends vertically from the usual hairline to the bottom of the chin, where the two jawbones meet. If the head hair grows onto the area of the obligatory washing, then whatever part of it descends beyond the usual hairline must be washed. The beard on the cheeks (al-ʿidhār) is included within the boundaries of the face and therefore must be washed. As for hair that hangs down onto the forehead from outside the usual hairline, it is not obligatory to wash it; rather, it suffices to lift it to wash what is beneath it. The temples (al-ṣudghān) are considered part of the head.
