What is the ruling on the fast of one who woke up during Ramadan while practicing masturbation unconsciously, then stopped, or did it then remembered and stopped, knowing that he did not ejaculate in either case?

The fast is valid. Whoever masturbates with his hand has committed a forbidden act, but his fast is not broken by it unless he ejaculates. If he ejaculates, his fast is broken. If ejaculation occurs during wakefulness, you do not break your fast by it if you did not cause it. However, if you caused it, such as by masturbating after waking up, then your fast is broken.
