What is the solution to free oneself from the constant unintentional feeling of lust upon seeing men, which leads to feeling that one's ablution is nullified, seeing unseemly images during prayer, having disturbing dreams, fearing sleep, feeling unchaste, drifting away from acts of worship, and being unable to read beneficial books? And is it a condition to see madhy (pre-seminal fluid) on one's clothes to confirm its exit?
The mere presence of desire or intrusive thoughts does not entail sin, as long as one does not intentionally dwell on them. To overcome these thoughts, the following is recommended: 1. Insistently supplicating to Allah for chastity. 2. Lowering the gaze from that which incites desire. 3. Increasing fasting to curb desire. 4. Remembering Allah and consistently reciting the prescribed adhkar (remembrances). 5. Engaging in activities beneficial for this world and the Hereafter, such as reading the Qur’an and seeking knowledge. 6. Keeping company with righteous sisters.
The mere feeling of desire or the sensation of madhy (pre-seminal fluid) exiting is of no consequence. Wudu’ (ablution) is not invalidated unless madhy or maniy (seminal fluid) has actually exited and one is certain of its exit. The principle is that ritual purity remains until an impurity is certain.
