What is the ruling on the saying, "Everything in this world is destiny (naseeb)," and is Allah the Causer of causes in the matter of opening up destiny?

Allah is the Creator of all things, and He decreed the destinies of creation fifty thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth. A Muslim must take the legitimate means to achieve their aspirations, while increasing in supplication and acts of obedience, and refraining from sins. There is no harm in a woman offering herself in marriage to someone whose religiosity and character she approves of, through one of her mahrams. Consulting sorcerers is forbidden by Islamic law and is of no benefit, nor does it have any effect on Allah’s decree.
