How is the inheritance distributed for a woman who passed away, leaving behind two granddaughters from a deceased son, two living daughters, a sick full sister, and cousins?

If a woman passes away, leaving behind two daughters, two granddaughters (daughters of a son), and a full sister, and no other heirs, then the two daughters receive two-thirds, and the full sister receives the remainder (one-third). The two granddaughters receive nothing because the daughters have exhausted the two-thirds share. Similarly, their paternal uncles are completely excluded by the full sister.

It is not permissible to seek judgment from judicial bodies that do not rule according to Sharia in the distribution of inheritance. The heirs must strive to divide the estate according to Islamic law. A Sharia court or an Islamic center should handle inheritance cases, or if no Sharia court exists, the matter should be discussed directly with scholars.
