What is the ruling on a mother maintaining ties with her disobedient daughter who abandoned her family to commit forbidden acts, refuses to repent, and asks her family to accept her as she is?

In dealing with a daughter who caused a rift with her family, the following is advised:

1. Do not accept her return if she will corrupt her sisters.

2. Accept her return if the parents are prepared to exert effort to guide her.

3. Invest her desire to restore the relationship in guiding her, even if it is painful.

4. Avoid scolding and reproaching so that she does not become alienated, and focus on her self-reflection.

5. The mother should bear the sight of her and seek reward from Allah, and be a sister and friend to her daughter.

6. Prepare a guidance program that includes: giving gifts, family gatherings, permissible trips, audio and visual materials about an evil end, and abundant supplication.

7. If possible, emigrate with the family to safe Islamic countries, even if it entails financial losses.
