Is it possible to undo sorcery and get rid of its symptoms without finding the sorcery papers that were previously disposed of by throwing them into running water or feeding them to a black dog?

One who resorted to a sorcerer has erred, and must offer sincere repentance. If he is suffering from symptoms of illness or magic, he should perform Ruqyah on himself with the established incantations, seek refuge with the traditional supplications, and adhere to dhikr (remembrance of Allah), du'a (supplication), and obedience until Allah relieves him. It is not permissible to undo magic with similar magic, nor is it necessary to find the magic to undo it; rather, Ruqyah and supplications can nullify its effect by Allah's permission.
