Is the repentance of someone who repented from listening to music at the age of 11, without knowing the conditions of repentance, then returned to listening to it, and now at the age of 17 wishes to repent again, accepted?
Singing accompanied by musical instruments is forbidden. If a servant returns to committing a sin after sincere repentance, he must renew his repentance and increase his good deeds. Allah accepts the repentance of a sincere penitent, and repentance is not invalidated by returning to sin if its conditions are met, the most important of which is not intending to return to sin at the time of repentance. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, narrating from his Lord: "My servant committed a sin, and then he knew that he had a Lord who forgives sins and holds accountable for sins. Do as you wish, for I have forgiven you," meaning as long as you sin and then repent. A believer, whenever he sins, repents and does not tire of seeking forgiveness.
