Am I sinful if I lend land to a farmer who grows tobacco (dukhān) trees on it?

It is forbidden to plant tobacco trees if they are intended for making cigarettes, due to the harm they cause. It is also forbidden to lend land for the purpose of cultivating it, because lending is not permissible if the borrower will use the borrowed item in an act of disobedience. If you lent the land without knowing his intention, there is no sin upon you. However, if you knew about it, then you must reclaim it if you are able, as Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
