Is it permissible to read my two books, "The Criterion of Speculation in Logic" and "The Standard of Knowledge" in the art of logic? And if not, what is the reason?

Knowledge is of two types: transmitted and intellectual. The science of logic, which is an intellectual science with rules that protect the mind from error, exists by فطرة (innate disposition). Iblis used it in his corrupt analogy that contradicted the text, and Abraham (peace be upon him) used it to prove the oneness of God. Logic does not protect the mind from error; intellectual sciences are known by فطرة (innate disposition), not by man-made laws. It is permissible for a student of knowledge to study some books of logic to become acquainted with its terminology, and it is preferable to consult a teacher to choose the appropriate book. Often, one begins with "Al-Sullam Al-Munawraq" or "Isagoge".
