Do the father and mother bear sin for consuming their son's illicit money and living in a house he built with this money?

Unlawful wealth is of two types: First, if it belongs to known individuals, such as stolen or usurped property. In this case, it is impermissible to deal with the thief or usurper concerning it through sale or benefit, and whoever does so knowingly is sinful. Second, if the wealth results from forbidden contracts such as usury and gambling. If the child has other lawful wealth, it is permissible for their parents to eat and drink from it. However, if the child has no income except this unlawful wealth, it is not permissible for the parents to eat or drink from what is bought with it, nor to reside in a house purchased with unlawful money. Nevertheless, if the parents are compelled to do so, there is no sin upon them due to necessity. But when they become independent of it with lawful money, it becomes forbidden for them to benefit from the unlawful wealth.
