What is the ruling on using devices obtained through a previous relationship, and is it permissible to give charity or use money mixed between personal funds and money originating from that relationship?

A woman is not permitted to have a relationship with a man who is a stranger to her, even if it is with the intention of future marriage, due to the forbidden elements inherent in such relationships. Regarding gifts: whatever was taken in exchange for the forbidden relationship, if it still exists, must be disposed of by giving it to the poor and needy. However, if it has perished or been spent, then nothing is required of you concerning it. As for what came after the engagement, if the suitor requests it, it must be returned to him; if he does not request it, then it is your property.
