What is the ruling on believing that some plants — such as al-limamah, al-majnunah, al-sham'ah, al-mukhalah, and usb' al-bubu — bring evil and hinder marriage if planted inside the house, and do they have a connection to Satan?

Allah creates what He wills and gives His creations characteristics for a reason. It is not permissible to believe that plants bring evil unless there is a divine revelation or empirical evidence. Saying that any creature influences by itself is major polytheism (Shirk Akbar). Allah made the leaves of some trees thick to retain dew and moisture in the desert, and this has no relation to devils. A Muslim must avoid pessimism and ill omens. If one fears devils, sorcerers, or envious people, they should resort to Allah, seek refuge in Him, and recite the prescribed remembrances frequently, such as reading the Mu'awwidhat (Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Nas).
