Is it permissible to slaughter the sacrificial animal (Uḍḥiya) that fell from the the roof of the house before it died?

If the slaughter occurs before the Eid prayer, it is not considered an Uḍḥiyah (sacrificial animal) due to not fulfilling the condition of the slaughtering time. If it was a vowed sacrifice, it must be replaced. However, if the slaughter occurred at its proper time and you intended it as an Uḍḥiyah, it is sufficient even if it was broken. The validity of slaughtering applies if the animal is reached before its death; an animal that has fallen from a height and died is unlawful, but it becomes lawful if it is reached and slaughtered before its death, according to the Almighty's saying: "Except that which you slaughter."
