Is it permissible for someone who watches pornography to gouge out his eye to become blind if he cannot stop himself by other means?

A human being does not own his body; rather, it is a trust with him, and it is not permissible to dispose of it except in ways authorized by Islamic law. However, one must seek a real cure that prevents the viewing of haram (forbidden things), by referring to the fatwas related to how to get rid of viewing pornographic websites and forbidden images.
