How can an abrogated verse, being from God, be of less good than an abrogating verse, which is also from God, as stated in the verse: "Whatever verse We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it"?

It is permissible to prefer some parts of the Quran over others in terms of meaning and the resulting reward or benefit, but not in terms of its attribution to Allah, based on the Almighty's saying: (Whatever verse We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We will bring forth [one] better than it or similar to it) and His saying: (Convey to our people that we have met our Lord, and He is pleased with us, and has made us pleased). Aspects of this preference include: the greatness of the reward and recompense, the immediate benefits for its reciter, the meanings and implications contained within the verses, and that acting upon one verse is more preferable than acting upon another.
