Is it permissible to wipe over leather socks (khuff) or regular socks (jawrab) after performing ghusl for major ritual impurity (janabah)? Is major ritual ablution (ghusl akbar) and minor ritual ablution (ghusl asghar) sufficient in place of minor ritual ablution (wudu asghar)? Is it permissible to perform wudu from a faucet that has rust?

If a Muslim wears his khuffayn (leather socks) after performing ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) from janaba (state of ritual impurity), he is permitted to wipe over them during wudu' (ablution) if the conditions for wiping are met. However, during ghusl from janaba, wiping over them does not suffice for washing the feet, as wiping is specific to wudu'.

The obligatory ghusl suffices for wudu' as long as nothing invalidates it.

Rust resulting from the faucet or pipes does not affect the purity of the water, and it is permissible to purify oneself with it, because it is something widespread and difficult to avoid. Therefore, if water changes due to something that usually accompanies it, or due to prolonged stagnation, or due to its sediment or container, it remains pure.
