What is the ruling on saying: "Were it not for the fear of the Lord, I would have made your love the sixth pillar of Islam"?

The aforementioned statement is an abominable lie and a grave calumny. Furthermore, an increase in a creature's love for the pillars of Islam contradicts veneration and verges on mockery. Moreover, if this love is for a man or a foreign woman, it is forbidden passion that incites temptation. If it is for a wife, it is blameworthy due to its excessiveness. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Ibn al-Qayyim stated that when the heart is filled with the love of Allah, it will not be afflicted with passionate love, and that the love of images afflicts the heart empty of Allah's love. One must beware of slips of the tongue, for a word can cast its speaker into the Fire further than the distance between the East and the West.
