What is the ruling on a text message that says: "Were it not for the fear and associating partners with Allah, I would have made your love the sixth pillar of Islam"? Is it permissible and sound?

The mobile phone is a useful means of communication, but it is a double-edged sword, as it can be used for evil, such as harassment. Those who engage in such harassment do not fear Allah, for fear of Him deters one from everything that displeases Him. Allah Almighty says: (Nay! But they do not fear the Hereafter). The questioner should not pay attention to such messages, as they may lead to indecency. Allah Almighty says: (O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing).
