What is the meaning of "Al-Laghw" (vain talk/action) in Allah Almighty's saying: "And those who turn away from Al-Laghw," and does "Al-Laghw" include all permissible yet unfruitful actions, such as sitting with friends and family and discussing worldly matters, and does performing these actions affect a Muslim's status among those whom Allah praised at the beginning of Surat Al-Mu'minun?

"Laghw" refers to all frivolous speech that contains no good and serves no purpose, and every reprehensible statement such as lying and cursing. It includes anything that is better for a Muslim to abandon than to utter. Legitimate speech or actions permitted by Islamic law do not fall under the meaning of "laghw." If a Muslim fulfills their duties and wishes to entertain themselves with some permissible activities, there is no harm in it, and this is not considered blameworthy "laghw," unless it leads to neglecting an obligation, committing a forbidden act, or becomes a dominant habit for the person.
