When was Amr ibn al-Aas born?

The exact date of 'Amr ibn al-'As's birth is not precisely known, but it is estimated that he was born eight years after the Year of the Elephant. He passed away in the year forty-three (Hijri). He was about five years older than 'Umar ibn al-Khattab and lived twenty years after 'Umar. From this, it can be deduced that his total age was eighty-something years, but he did not reach ninety.
