Is it permissible to kidnap the husband and threaten him so that he divorces his wife and relinquishes her rights after divorcing her verbally and refusing to divorce her officially?

The husband's mere utterance of divorce is sufficient for it to take effect. It is not a condition for it to be documented, witnessed, or approved by a judge. However, in case of a dispute, the husband's acknowledgment or the presence of evidence is necessary. If the divorce is revocable, the husband can reconcile with his wife as long as she is within her waiting period (iddah). After its expiry, she becomes irrevocably divorced by a minor separation (baynunah sughra), and a new contract is required if he wishes to reconcile with her. The wife is entitled to the full dowry if the divorce occurs after consummation.
