Would Zakat be counted for me from my knowledge if a valuable scientific material or research was stolen from me, and what is the punishment for the thief of research in the sight of Allah?

Whoever infringes upon another's intellectual effort and steals it is a sinner. If something is stolen from you, be patient and seek reward from Allah, and you will be rewarded, Allah willing. For every calamity a Muslim endures with patience, they are rewarded, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Wondrous is the affair of the believer, for there is nothing but good in all his affairs. This is not the case for anyone except the believer. If prosperity befalls him, he expresses gratitude to Allah, and that is good for him. And if adversity befalls him, he endures it patiently, and that is good for him."

And the zakat (purification/obligatory charity) of knowledge is fulfilled through several matters: 1. Disseminating knowledge: Like giving charity with money, a scholar gives charity with his knowledge, and the charity of knowledge is more enduring and less costly. 2. Acting upon it: Because action is an invitation to it, and many people emulate the morals and actions of a scholar. 3. Proclaiming the truth: Which is a form of disseminating knowledge, whether in a state of security or fear. 4. Enjoining good and forbidding evil: For the one who enjoins and forbids is knowledgeable of good and evil, and fulfills what is obligatory upon him.
