Is it obligatory to continue the engagement to a young man towards whom there is no comfort, despite having sought Allah's guidance (istikharah) and the family's affirmation of his good character, and is this considered a fate that must be accepted?

A girl's refusal to marry a man of good religious commitment and character is a mistake, based on the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "If there comes to you one whose religious commitment and character you approve, then marry him; otherwise, there will be tribulation on earth and widespread corruption." He must be accepted even if he is not perfect. Therefore, the girl should accept marriage to this young man if his religious commitment and character are satisfactory, especially if she has performed Istikhara (prayer for guidance) and her family has agreed. And how many women have disliked a suitor then found happiness with him, like Fatimah bint Qais, who disliked Usamah ibn Zayd but then married him, and Allah placed goodness in him.
