Is it permissible for an employee who has not received his full entitlements from the company to donate half of the entitlements, make a quarter of them an endowment (waqf), and take the remaining quarter?

The employee must fulfill the contract and be present at the agreed-upon work time. If the employer defaults on paying salaries, the employee may request termination of the contract. If the employee attends work but is absent [during work hours], he is only entitled to receive a portion of his salary commensurate with the work he performed. Therefore, whatever the company pays him, he is only entitled to what is equivalent to the work he performed, and he must return the remainder to the company or refrain from receiving what is equivalent to it from his entitlements. If that is not possible, he should return it to the company in any way. Neither charity, nor endowment, nor spending it on public interests is permissible, unless the company is governmental and returning the money to it is impossible, in which case it may be spent on public interests.
