Why was our master Abraham (peace be upon him) singled out for mention in the Tashahhud to the exclusion of other prophets?

The specific mention of Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and his family in the Abrahamic prayer (Salat al-Ibrahimiyyah) is due to the goodness and blessings Allah bestowed upon them. The supplication includes asking that Prophet Muhammad and his family be granted goodness similar to what was granted to the family of Ibrahim, with its continuation and multiplication. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to ask for blessings upon him just as blessings were bestowed upon the family of Ibrahim, because of the great distinctions Allah特y granted them.
