What are the means that lead to steadfastness in religion, especially with the abundance of surrounding tribulations, temptations, and doubts, such as the spread of music in public and private places?
There are means that help one remain steadfast in faith during times of tribulation, and these are of two types:
Firstly: Means that increase faith and certainty, such as seeking guidance to the straight path, adhering to Allah's religion without negligence, holding fast to the , and frequent remembrance of Allah.
Secondly: Means that protect one from falling into tribulations, such as patience with Allah's command, seeking refuge in Allah from tribulations, both apparent and hidden, being mindful of Allah and His preservation, accompanying the righteous and avoiding the company of others, in addition to not exposing oneself to tribulations, avoiding them, and staying away from their causes.
