You are to be thanked for safeguarding your husband and preserving yourself in his absence, for this is the way of the righteous believing woman. It is not permissible for a woman to seek divorce without a legitimate Shar'i justification. The mere desire of the husband to marry another does not permit her to seek divorce. However, if she is harmed by his absence, then she may seek divorce due to harm. It is advised not to rush into divorce, but to be deliberate and consult trustworthy individuals before making a decision.
