Is it permissible for a woman to seek divorce from her husband who neglects her marital rights on the pretext of not wanting to have children, and frequently lies to her, knowing that she can no longer tolerate living with him?

Allah has obligated the husband to treat his wife with kindness, and intercourse is one of the most emphasized rights a woman has over her husband. It is obligatory once every four months, and it is also said: according to her need and his ability, and this is the sounder of the two opinions. If the husband refuses to fulfill this right, the wife may seek a divorce. However, it is forbidden for her to do so if she requests it without cause.
