Are discounts and gifts available only through e-commerce applications, which may be in exchange for using the application or on the occasion of a birthday or through collecting points, halal or haram?

Free commercial incentives, such as those given upon purchase from an application or free points that can lead to a prize, are permissible, provided that the price of the commodity is its real price, and that the person does not buy the commodity in anticipation of the prize.

There is no objection to benefiting from what is given in exchange for filling in personal data or completing a survey.

However, paying to advance to another level to obtain more discounts or points is not permissible because it falls under gambling and religiously forbidden gharar (excessive uncertainty).
