Does divorce take effect with the utterance "taalik" found upon waking up, and with the incomplete utterance "taal"?

We ask Allah to grant you healing from the waswasah (obsessive whispering). What you uttered, "Talik" (feminine form of 'taliq', meaning divorced), does not result in divorce. This is one of the furthest expressions from being explicit in divorce, and some jurists even believe it does not constitute an implicit divorce at all. According to the Hanafis, no divorce occurs with it unless your wife takes you to a judge, and the divorce would then be enforced, unless you had previously witnessed before uttering it that you did not intend divorce. As for the word "Tal" (meaning 'long' or possibly a truncated form of 'taliq'), the Shafi'is differed concerning it. Some of them hold that divorce occurs with it, based on it being a truncated form (tarkhim), while others do not consider divorce to occur even if you intended it. If, in addition to the above, you are suffering from waswasah, then that makes the occurrence of divorce even less likely.
