Is exaggeration in poetic messages sent in response to others' messages considered hypocrisy, and is excessive sending of messages to the point of draining one's mobile balance considered extravagance?

The religion of Allah is one of moderation, free from excess or deficiency, and moderation is best in all things, as Allah Almighty said: (And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor stingy, but hold a just balance between those [extremes]) Al-Furqan/67.

Exceeding the limit in messages is blameworthy extravagance, and many of them are useless.

As for exaggerated messages of praise, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade praising a person and condemned praisers, due to what it might cause of self-admiration or arrogance in the one being praised. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: (When you see those who praise people excessively, throw dust in their faces).

And if the praise contains falsehood, it is one of the characteristics of the hypocrites, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: (The signs of a hypocrite are three: when he speaks, he lies; when he promises, he breaks his promise; and when he is entrusted, he betrays). Likewise, excessive talk, flattery, and exaggerated praise may be from hypocrisy.
