What is the ruling on working for an information technology company that deals with musical satellite channels such as "Rotana," "Mazzika," and "Melody" through SMS services or the "Al-Hawa Sawa" program?

If the majority or all of the work of the company you are employed by relies on collaboration with satellite channels specializing in music, then it is not permissible for you to work there, due to the involvement in assisting in sin. However, if the company has other permissible lines of business, it is permissible to work there while avoiding participation in activities related to the aforementioned channels. And whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah, Allah will compensate him with something better.
