What is the ruling on a dog touching shoes or clothes, and how are they purified?

If one is not certain or does not predominantly assume that a dog has licked the inside of shoes or clothes, then they are deemed pure, acting upon the rule: "Certainty is not removed by doubt," and there is no obligation to wash them. However, if one is certain or predominantly assumes that it has licked the inside of shoes or clothes, then purification is obligatory. As for dog hair, it is pure according to the soundest opinion, and there is no need to wash whatever it touches.
