The question

Have I committed disbelief by abandoning prayer due to the difficulty of performing ghusl for janabah, knowing that I am not married, and remembering the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The covenant between us and them is prayer; whoever abandons it has disbelieved"?

The answer

It is permissible to wear bracelets for adornment or for scientifically proven medical treatment. However, if they are based on superstitions and myths, then it is not permissible. Abandoning prayer is a grave mistake and a great sin. One who abandons prayer must repent and make up the missed prayers. If ritual impurity (janabah) is due to masturbation, then one must repent from it and not return to it.
