Is not uttering the Two Testimonies immediately upon the occurrence of bad thoughts during a lecture considered negligence and apostasy?

"Waswasah" (whispering of Satan) and "Hadith al-Nafs" (self-talk) are matters that assail the heart without a person's choice. Allah has forgiven the Ummah for these thoughts as long as they are not acted upon or spoken, based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, Allah has forgiven my Ummah for whatever they whisper to themselves or whatever thoughts they have, as long as they do not act upon it or speak of it."

A servant's dislike for these "waswasah" is a sign of sound faith, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "That is pure faith."

It is not required for a person experiencing "waswasah" to utter the Shahadatain (the two testimonies of faith) as long as they are confident in their truth. Rather, they should seek refuge in Allah and put an end to the "waswasah."
