Is it permissible to listen to the Holy Quran on a recorder that was purchased for listening to songs?

There is no harm in using a recorder, originally bought to listen to music, for listening to tapes of the Noble Qur'an and beneficial tapes. This is because its use in obedience is not affected by the fact that it was previously bought or used for disobedience.
